Resin jhumkas with pressed flowers A real daisy. Worn. Still in bloom.
Inside every pair is a real flower, pressed, dried, and stopped in resin. Daisies, rose petals, gypsophila, held in oxidised silver or antique gold. No two pairs match, because no two flowers did.
From flower to jhumka
Three months of work.
Inside every pair is a flower that once bloomed in somebody's garden. Getting it this far takes time.
- 01
A flower is picked
One from a bouquet. One from a garden. Or the rose somebody gave you that you pressed inside a book.
- 02
It presses for weeks
Under heavy books, between sheets of blotting paper. Keeping the colour means it cannot be hurried. This is the slow part.
- 03
The resin stops it
Set into silver or gold with gold leaf. From then on it will not dry further, break, or lose its colour.
